01/26/2009 - CCBA hosted the annual Lunar New Year ceremony. Many important government officials visited CCBA and greeted the Chinese-Americans a happy new year, including New York City Comptroller William Thompson, Jr., State Assembly Members, City Council Members, judges and other officials.

01/24/2009 - Assembly Member William Colton, members from Civil Aid Services and United Brooklyn Chinese Association visited CCBA and greeted Chinese Americans a happy new year.
01/23/2009 - President Justin Yu attended the 27 Anniversary Dinner of the Flushing Chinese Business Association.
01/23/2009 - New York State Assembly Member Grace Meng and representatives from other Assembly Members' Offices visited CCBA, and greeted Chinese-Americans in New York a happy Chinese New Year.
01/22/2009 - Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, representatives from Governor's Office , Mayor's Office, City Comptroller's Office and City Council Speaker's Office visited CCBA, and greeted Chinese-Americans in New York a happy Chinese New Year.
01/18/2009 - Mr. John Hsiao-yen Chiang, Vice Chairman of Kuomingtang Party, visited CCBA and held a forum here. On behalf on KMT Chairman Wu Po-hsiung, he presented proclamations to CCBA President Justin Yu and former President Eric Ng, to appreciate their efforts to help in the Presidential Election in Taiwan last year.
01/18/2009 - President Justin Yu spoke on a lunch event that welcomed the delegation from the Republic of China, who would attend the United States presidential inauguration.
01/16/2009 - The Chinese Community Social Services and Health Services Association held a seminar at CCBA, to provide information regarding employment and unemployment benefits to the community.

01/14/2009 - President Justin Yu and Mr. Tony Chiang from Kuomintang Eastern American Division announced to the media regarding the visit of Mr. John Hsiao-yen Chiang, Vice Chairman of Kuomingtang Party, to CCBA on January 18, 2009.
01/14/2009 - CCBA hosted a press conference to announce the schedule and arrangement of this year's Lunar New Year Chinese Opera Performances.
01/11/2009 - President Justin Yu attended the First Lion Dance Competition hosted by the Chinese Freemasons at Columbus Park.
01/09/2009 - The Chinese Freemasons announced the detail information of the First Lion Dance Competition that would be hosted on January 11.
