09/28/2018 - President Eric Ng attended and spoke In a rally to support the Kuomintang Party candidates on their campaigns in November's election in Taiwan (Republic of China).
09/28/2018 - Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in New York Deputy Director General Chang Chin-yu and CCBA President Eric Ng presented the flags to the representatives from the travel agency, and authorized them to represent CCBA to attend the Republic of China Double Ten National Day celebration in Taiwan.
09/27/2018 - Organized by CCBA, Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association and Lin Sing Association, hundreds of residents and business owners held a rally at the Municipal Building to voice out against Mayor Bill de Blasio's proposal to close Rikers Island and to build a new detention center in Chinatown to accept approximately 1,000 additional inmates.
09/27/2018 - Senior Leadership from Gouverneur Health visited CCBA and announced their annual fund raising gala that will be held on October 17.
09/26/2018 - Marc Molinaro, who is running for New York State Governor, visited CCBA and President Eric Ng.
09/26/2018 - CaringKind held the annual Healthy-Brain event at CCBA auditorium.
09/24/2018 - Wendy Li, who is running for Civil Court Judge in Municipal Court District 2 and won in the primary election, visited CCBA to thank the community's supports.
09/23/2018 - CCBA and New York Chinese School hosted the annual traditional Confucius Memorial Ceremony. President Eric Ng was the principal presentation officer of the ceremony.
09/22/2018 - Gouverneur Health provided free flu shot service to the community at CCBA.
09/19/2018 - Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, Chinese American Medical Society and many healthcare organizations held a press conference at CCBA and announced the third annual "North American Chinatown Smoke Free Day" that will be held in Columbus Park on September 24.
09/18/2018 - President Eric Ng, President Raymond Tsang and President James Wong visited a few senior centers, to express greeting to them for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
09/14/2018 - Mayor de Blasio announced that his administration is proceeding with the closure of Rikers Island. As a result, the City will expand the Manhattan Detention Center on Centre Street in Chinatown, in order to accept approximately 1,000 additional inmates. In a press conference, CCBA, Hoy Sun Ning Yung Association and Lin Sing Association announced a rally on September 27 to voice our oppositions against the proposal.
09/07/2018 - Members and supporters of Kuomintang Party established a league in New York to support and promote Kuomintang Party in November's election in Taiwan (Republic of China).
09/06/2018 - Allan Fung, a Chinese American who is running for Governor of Rhode Island, visited CCBA and President Eric Ng.
09/05/2018 - After a two-months of summer break, the NYPD Fifth Precinct police-community forum resumed at CCBA. During the meeting, President Eric Ng announced the results of petitions that CCBA collected in Chinatown.  Over 96% of businesses and participants opposed the City's proposal to relocate additional inmates and expand the Manhattan Detention Center in Chinatown.
